Eagle Petroleum is the developer of Energy Plus Super "C" which is the basis for many applications of cleanup and bio-hazard removal. Its composition is most unique. Energy Plus is totally safe, non-toxic and non-flammable. Energy Plus Super "C" is also free of phosphates, nitrates and sulfates. It is not caustic, not an enzyme and it is free of any pollutants.
Energy Plus is totally biodegradable on land and sea making it an ecologically friendly product. Saltwater does not inhibit the product’s ability to turn an oil spill into a biodegradable substance. Energy Plus has the ability to treat polluted water and turn into clean drinking water and is effective at cleaning hydrogen sulfide out of sourer wells.
Eagle Petroleum, Inc. can act as a rapid response group should it be required. We can have storage points along the gulf coastline in order to maintain a local supply of product. This would aid rapid response crews to expedite spill control.

Publication date: March 2009
About the book:
First published in 1998, Shipping and the Environment was quickly acclaimed as the leading text worldwide on the law and practice of pollution from ships. Written with the long experience of two top practitioners, it was soon not only the standard work for experts but also popular as an introduction to the subject – welcomed by students and teachers, lawyers and non-lawyers for its highly readable account of how the law applies in practice. This second edition covers a wealth of developments in the decade since the first was published, with ground-breaking new chapters on aspects of increasing concern to society, governments and industry alike.
What's new:
- Erika, Prestige and changes to compensation regimes: Supplementary Fund, STOPIA and TOPIA, Hebei Spirit, interim payments, and many decisions on admissibility of claims
- Bunkers Convention, pollution from FPSOs and latest on HNS
- Major US cases, New Carissa, Athos I, Selendang Ayu, Cosco Busan, and the latest regulatory changes
- Chapter devoted to limitation of liability for pollution
- Environmental aspects of salvage: SCOPIC, Tasman Spirit and insurance cover
- Detailed chapter on international rules to prevent pollution: Law of the Sea, SOLAS and MARPOL
- Conventions on anti-fouling, ballast water and wreck removal
- Up-to-date position on air pollution and carbon emissions from ships
- Places of refuge: Castor, Prestige, MSC Napoli and IMO Guidelines
- Law and practice of dumping at sea, shipment of waste and dismantling of ships – full story behind the “ghost ships”, Clémenceau and other leading cases
- The latest on flag state and port state control, industry controls and measures to promote quality shipping
- Major new chapter on criminal liability: international and US law and practice; oily water separators, aerial observations and the cases in France; interpretation of MARPOL and the EU Directive; fair treatment of seafarers, UNCLOS safeguards and IMO Guidelines; US criminal laws, enforcement agencies and practice.
Like its predecessor, the second edition is superbly indexed and written clearly with the needs in mind of a wide international readership.
This is an up-to-date legal text for day-to-day reference, providing detailed information on one of the most complex areas of maritime law. The authors have combined their expertise to produce a comprehensive and comparative work on shipping and the environment, making the title a vital reference tool for anyone involved in the shipping industry.

We distribute the best oil separator product available, SWR, and it is environmentally safe!
Working together, we can help save our world resources! Our product will save you time and money!
Maritime Industry
SWR significantly improves the performance of oil/water separators, removes oil and scale from decks and bulkheads, and can be used for all general purpose cleaning on board. Separation of oil and solids in the bilge is caused by the presence of SWR, and separated oil can be recovered or recycled. Spray application of areas between double hulls, fuel bunkers and holds will clean oil and grease accumulation, and inhibit scale build up. SWR compounds are non-flammable, and require no special storage conditions.
Industrial Cleaning and Degreasing
SWR removes oil, grease and hydrocarbon coatings from metal, engines, machine parts, and industrial equipment, by spraying or dipping without the use of toxic solvents. In conveyor trap/sump systems, SWR separates oil and grease from water emulsions, precipitates solids with little or no hydrocarbon contamination, and allows the oil and grease to be recovered or recycled. Cleaning metal surfaces with SWR prior to painting will reduce the quantity of toxic acid washes.
Rejuvenation of Oil Wells
SWR injected into oil wells returns paraffin and asphaltene build-up to the oil pad, prevents precipitation of solids upon cooling or at lower pressures, cleans and inhibits scaling and deposits in the well casing and pipelines, and enhances extraction of oil from the pores of rock or sedimentary deposits.
General Petroleum Applications
SWR cleans pipelines on land or sea, increases flow, and reduces maintenance costs by helping to remove and inhibit rust and scale build-up. It maintains crude in a liquid free-flowing state to lower temperatures and facilitates separation of solids and water from the oil to enhance product quality. In sludge tanks and pits, SWR precipitates solids and promotes separation of oil and water, allowing easier recovery and recycling of the oil layer. Environmental remediation of remaining sludges may also be enhanced. Oil tanks and tankers can be cleaned by spray application or by circulation.

FYI - The following was sent to various research organizations.
=======================
It has come to my attention that the Heritage Foundation has done research on technical help from foreign countries for oil spill technology.
FYI - we (TECHBlue Center) are conducting a number of studies on clean waterfront technology which may help the oil spill recovery. TECHBlue is an independent, nonprofit research group.
Some Japanese sources, specifically, have been very helpful. They have provided information on an 'oil solidifier' process which may be of great benefit to the current cleanup problems. And, the product is a EPA Listed Bio-remediation product (B-58), and listed by US Coast Guard - Shore Infrastructure Logistics
FYI -- Product information & Video download (large file) - http://www.dockshops.net/alphagel/
Obviously, Japan has a history of insuring their fish populations are preserved -- so we focused on them first. They have been very forthcoming with answers. We are coordinating marine contractors who are qualified to apply and monitor the effort, as well as enlist a series of other technologies from Japan which may help.
We are not pursuing publicity. Rather we would like introduction to other point people to help insure this all works. If you know of resources which may aid us, please notify me.
Please forward this to other like minds.

Portable Pump Experts in Emergency Response
Thompson Pump & Manufacturing Co. Inc. mobilizes their Emergency Response Team (ERT) to provide pumping equipment, supplies and manpower to areas devastated by hurricane and flooding activity. Thompson Pump is a 40-year veteran in disaster relief having facilitated cleanup efforts with the Exxon Valdez oil spill, the World Trade Center collapse, several flooded areas in the Midwest and hurricane damaged areas in the Southeast.
Just this year the ERT has called on all 20 company-wide branch locations and several distributors and dealers to provide pumps, equipment, and manpower. Their dedication to emergency response is one of the reasons Thompson Pump has locations along the Gulf and Florida coasts.
“Our Emergency Response Team knows they are on call 24/7 until a crisis is under control,” says Bill Thompson, president, Thompson Pump. “We evaluate all avenues where we can assist in disaster relief efforts, and we are committed to utilizing our equipment and experience to help anyone in need.”
When responding to disaster, Thompson Pump first concentrates on areas where people’s lives may be in jeopardy; then, their team supports the property protection and recovery stage; all along, aiding in getting hospitals, wastewater treatment plants, water plants, power generation facilities and industrial operations, such as refineries, operational. All of these efforts to mobilize equipment and manpower, while continuing to service existing customers, require intense communication.
Suction/discharge hose and pipe are sent with each to allow for quick setup so the pumps can begin working immediately. Along with the set up of pumps and equipment, continuous fueling of pumps and proper working order conditions are provided with steady pump watch duties.
In addition to their expertise provided, Thompson Pump employees support the American Red Cross and local blood banks on a regular basis to aid during these unexpected times.

The offshore drilling has had a very good record in the US, but perfection is unobtainable, there will be more oil spills in my lifetime. Between the complex wells being drilled in the ultra-deep and frequent massive hurricanes in the GOM, disaster is always a probability.
Safeguards were built into the Titanic, the Space Shuttle Shallenger, the doomed Apollo rocket that exploded, the Twin Towers, the freeways that collapsed in California and plenty of safeguards are built into drilling rigs. Unfortunately, drilling for oil is a tricky and dangerous business. People get injured, people die, spills happen and in general **** happens. Sactimonius finger pointing and while great for politicians and lawyers ignores the truth. **** happens and the more complex the machinery, the pressures, the heat, the depth, the more likely something bad can happen
I think the offshore oil drillers have a very good record considering the nature of the business. Nothing built by humans or operated by humans will operate perfectly, forever.
