Committee F20 on Hazardous Substances and Oil Spill Response was formed in 1975. F20 meets twice a year, usually in February and October, with about 20 members meeting of two days of meetings, to develop and update documents relevant to hazardous substances and oil spill response. The Committee, with a current membership of approximately 100, has jurisdiction of over 59 standards, published in the Annual Book of ASTM Standards, Volume 11.05. Committee F20 has 9 technical subcommittees that maintain jurisdiction over these standards. The venue for the fall meeting of F20 has been changed. The F20 meeting will now be October 20-21, in Tampa, Florida. The meeting will be held in conjunction with Clean Gulf 2010. This was done because there are a large number of members who plan to attend Clean Gulf, so we wanted to make arrangements so that only one trip was necessary, opposed to back to back weeks of travel. The meeting will be in a meeting room in the Tampa Marriott Waterside beginning Wednesday afternoon and continuing all day Thursday, schedule to follow
